Our 72-bed Addiction Treatment Facility provides long-term, short-term and outpatient treatment to recovering addicts. When you donate your car or truck you reach out your hand to your neighbors struggling with addiction and help provide the care and attention they need to get their lives back. Volunteers of America Delaware Valley has provided community-based, residential, reintegration-centered programs for 30 years.

From Philadelphia to Atlantic City to Wilmington, our area has seen an unprecedented economic downturn in the past few years. This economic disaster has left good people our community without a safety net, looking for support, shelter and a community that will help them get back on their feet. When you donate used cars, you help Volunteers of America provide emergency housing, supportive services, and affordable and senior housing. We put 88% of all donations to work providing shelter to people in need and programs designed to lift people out of homelessness through our five homes and centers throughout the Delaware Valley.

Volunteers of America doesn’t stop with shelter, we provide supportive services as well. Through referrals, counseling, employment assistance, crisis intervention, support groups, workshops and community activities we help people suffering from economic and personal disaster to get a new vision for their lives. Our goal is simple but powerful: we want to help the homeless live independent and productive lives. The scourge of domestic violence is a black mark on our community. But it is a mark of courage for a victim of domestic abuse and violence to reach out for help. Volunteers of America has partnered with the Camden County Women’s Center to provide comprehensive Domestic Violence Outreach Services to Delaware Valley. When you donate used cars you help women, children and even men in our community who suffer from domestic violence. Our programs and services help your neighbors become strong, responsible family members and help them develop skills to eliminate violent behavior.
