The programs operated by Volunteers of America provide support that encourages self sufficiency. The funds raised by automobile donations at CarsHelpingPeople.org provide emergency shelter, food, and clothing to disadvantaged individuals and families. Support services have also been funded to assist abused women and children in communities. Volunteers of America and CarsHelpingPeople.org, also helps the elderly receive the care and support needed to age with dignity.
